Try Out: Belvita breakfast biscuit

The product I am  reviewing is the Belvita breakfast biscuits "milk & cereals". It comes in a stand up box, carrying all the  information needed: brand name, product name, description, flavor, nutritional information and finally a picture of the biscuits within. Inside, it contains packs of 6,
each separately sealed within which are four biscuits.

I opened a pack, it has a pleasant scent of  rich wheat emanating from the rather thin looking biscuit. As you can see from the above picture the biscuit itself is a long oval shape, very thin but crunchy, with nice oaty bits across the topside. As i bit into it, WOW......it was sooo tasty, crunchy, light and it melts in your mouth, it tasted more like digestive or danish biscuit. To be sincere, these were soooo sweet compared to digestive biscuit

These biscuits are advertised as being the prefect breakfast for those on the go. The commercial claims that they are “specially baked to release energy regularly and continuously in your body,”. The whole draw of this particular snack is the added vitamins and minerals, and of course the high fiber content, with 1 of the biscuits equating to 2% of your daily fiber intake. I won't advice relying on this biscuit for your daily fiber intake.
The nutritional information -
Per biscuit i.e 1 biscuit
56 kcals, so for the 4 in a pack is 56x4 = 224 calories
1.1g protein, x 4
8.6g carbohydrate, x 4
2.4g of which sugars, x 4
1.9g fat, x 4
0.5g of which saturates, x 4
0.5g fibre, x 4
0.05g sodium x 4

These are no more healthier than eating Foxy biscuit or Oreo cookies for breakfast. They are laden with fat, sugar, and white flour; but because they have a few whole grains in them they're called healthy. When I had them for breakfast, I got an immediate sugar rush after couple of minutes I was hungry again. The sugary taste in my mouth was like I had a big piece of frosted cake.
